Today, human trafficking has long become a problem worldwide. More and more lives of young children and teenagers are being robbed through the abduction by ruthless people who manipulate lives of these young and innocent ones to generate money to support their worthless lives. What angers me more is the fact that people around the world still support and pay for pornography just to satisfy their unworthy lust. Pornography and prostitution is not just as simple as it seems in general. By supporting pornography, are you aware that you're encouraging more young girls to be kidnapped, sent overseas to be used as sex slaves? They are selfishly left without a future and basically treated as a slave which is somehow LEGAL in certain countries.
When you indulge in pornography, that woman you're lustfully looking at is someone's mother or sister being sexually manipulated by another man. As you indulge in the lustful act, someone else's family left helpless, being absolutely clueless of where their loved one may have been brought to. Probably it may not matter as much to you but how would you react if your sister or mother was kidnapped and was sexually manipulated among men with ruthless desires?
Now i hope this post leaves you with an idea of what many of you are indulging in. Before you ever think about watching porn again, take a moment to think and why not first put yourselves in their shoes that you are looking for your own mother or sister who is being sexually manipulated by strangers, how would you feel?
Without doubt, sex is one of the strongest drives we have. Natural desire for the opposite sex is normal and necessary but bare in mind that looking at someone of the opposite sex lustfully is not a natural desire but an obligated decision that should be avoided. It is natural for men to desire women, in which families are formed and children are produced. After all, that is what God intended. Like any good gift however, Satan is quick to pervert or twist it into something that God didn't intend. Food is good, but can lead to illness if taken in overabundance. Wine is God's good gift, but can cause drunkeness if taken in excess. Money is good but can corrupt a soul when worshipped.
Now i've heard some argue that argue saying that man is an animal and thus a desire to mate with any and every female is entirely natural and should not be censured. However, common sense tells us that unrestrained sex leads to broken families, fatherless children, abortion and general chaos. So if unrestrained sex is man's destiny, why should it all turn out so badly for all concerned? We don't see that in God's word and his plans for us.
So what if you have been captured by the habit of lust, you may ask, how do you break free? Without a doubt its gonna be tough especially if you have practiced this lustful habit over a period of years. It will definitely take you determination and a healthy dose of God's grace to cleanse you when you fail but it is possible to break free from lust. First step would be trashing out anything that is feeding your lust so that you are able to quarantine it from getting the supply of lustful energy. Starve a habit from its needs and it will die. If your internet is that trigger to lust, cut the connection and use weapons of prayer, scripture reading and fasting. Fasting as in fasting from materialistic things of the world that may cause you to trigger the lustful sin. Last but not least, accept God's grace and complete forgiveness toward you as his child, even if you sin again.
In short, respect any other girl and woman the same way you'd like people to respect your mother and sister. You may try and argue, "no i don't have a sister", but you can't argue the fact that you have a mother or maybe even a girlfriend. Girls are wonderful creations of God that are meant to be loved and sheltered, not manipulated into sex and misused as things. For those who may have had a bitter experience with someone, let it go, for God has a better plan for you. Your day will soon come and put that faith in Him to allow it to happen. I quote what a friend once told me, to obtain something better in life, sometimes you would just need to let the past go even if it hurts.
