ah...finally some time to rant...
with much time to spare this morning, i decided to go blog hunting and popping by one of my kakak's blog would be obviously part of my routine (yeah i have to do that or she'll never have a reason to visit my blog =P). as i was reading her latest post entitled, #273 Hate, i came across a quote that spoke a lot about what we face in this 21st century. Dila Ariff was describing about how someone was talking about this girl who had feelings for him despite her having a boyfriend, thus, leading to his insecurity about the next step which was to either proceed or retreat.
Here's the first line i'd like to quote.
"then he was going on and on about how if you don't add gasoline to the fire, then the fire will eventually die off or something along those lines."
So what's my conclusive answer to that?
Are you gonna continue hitting on someone's girlfriend?
Do you think its morally correct?
Now i came to realize this about the world we live in today. As portayed in TV shows and movies of the riches of Hollywood, people define love as sleeping around and trying people out to find the right one. After all, they just justifying their mistakes by saying, you never try, you never know. So if humanity was made to be that way, would it also mean that breaking hearts of one another be part of finding the right thing?

Here's the second quote,
then he was telling me how humans are always not satisfied of the things they already have, which i agree, completely. then he said, "so, we'll always go on looking and not be satisfied until we find the right one!"
I have to agree about how humans can never be satisfied about the things that they have. But then again, we're given the power to make decisions over what we want and what we need right?
So ultimately, should we have a sense of self control towards ourselves as individuals?
I think, yes.
Leaving a girl for a hotter girl its stupid. Leaving a guy for a hotter guy is stupid.
As an individual, i am daily challenged by pressure of knowing people who do things that it becomes somewhat a routine to them.
Habits like smoking, alcoholism, adultery are simple examples of what has become a normal today.
And the only thing that stops me from doing it is......
Daring to be different......
